Argus C Forty Four was a rangefinder 35mm camera with the upgrade of interchangeable lenses. The standard lens for the 44 was the Cintagon 50mm f2.8 and was the first 4-element Tessar-type that was produced by Argus in their Ann Arbor, Michigan factory.
Print Collection commissioned watercolor artist Dana Saylor to create this one of ten paintings for ouråÊclassic camera series. The series of images are all in a square format.åÊ
