WPA Photographers working for the Work Progress Administration or WPA were hired in the 1930's to document many of the United States depression services that help people survive the period. Photographers included Dorothea Lange, Walker Evans, Gordon Parks, Jack Delano, Alfred Palmer, John Vachon, Russell Lee, and Marion Post Wolcott.
